Tradition (Hildegard's writings)

In Hildegard's tradition, mulberry leaves were used externally in the care of the skin.

Ingredients

Mulberry leaves and water.

Preparation

Boil 1 handful of mulberry leaves vigorously with 250 ml of water for 3 minutes and strain.

Botanical background

Mulberry leaves contain bioflavonoids credited with anti-inflammatory properties.
