Tradition (Hildegard's writings) 1

In Hildegard's tradition, masterwort wine was associated with well-being in the cold season.

Ingredients

Cut masterwort root; red or white wine.

Preparation 1

Chop about 50 g of masterwort root. Put 1 tsp of it into half a glass of wine and leave it to stand overnight; the next morning, top the glass up with wine and strain.

Note

Set the preparation up fresh each time.
