Tradition (Hildegard's writings) 1

In Hildegard's tradition, stork's-bill powder was associated with the airways and the heart.

Ingredients

Dried stork's-bill herb (Erodium cicutarium), pellitory powder and nutmeg powder.

Preparation 1

Chop 20 g of dried stork's-bill herb coarsely and pulverise it in a mortar or grinder. Then mix it well with 15 g of pellitory powder and 8 g of nutmeg powder.

Note

Keeps for about a year when stored dry and cool. Take care not to confuse it with the hemlock-leaved stork's-bill.
