Tradition (Hildegard's writings)

Traditionally used in Hildegard's stone lore as an “eye stone”, for the care of the eyes and in connection with failing eyesight.

Ingredients

Gold topaz and dry wine.

Preparation

Lay a gold topaz in a liqueur glass of dry wine for three days and three nights.

Note

With glaucoma and raised pressure within the eye, regular checks by an eye specialist are indispensable; the application is no substitute for medical treatment.
