Naked Oats
Product information "Naked Oats"
The name "naked oats" comes from the fact that the grain grows almost "naked" – it is only surrounded by fine husks that fall off naturally during threshing. The mild, nutty grains are versatile and particularly popular for patties, casseroles, soups and salads.
For fresh grain porridge, the oats should be soaked for a maximum of 30 minutes to prevent them from becoming bitter. Baking tip: Since naked oats have limited baking properties, it's best to mix them with spelt flour for optimal results.
