What it is: Organic apple syrup by Beutelsbacher: gently concentrated direct apple juice from organic apples – a mild fruit sweetness with no other ingredients.
What it is good for: sweetening muesli, porridge, yoghurt, quark, tea and desserts, as a spread and for cooking and baking. Rule of thumb: 2 parts sugar equal about 3 parts apple syrup – then reduce the liquid in the dough slightly.
Goes well with: our fine spelt flakes for porridge, the unsweetened Spelt Pops Pure to sweeten yourself and spelt flour type 630 for baking.
