Tradition (Hildegard's writings)

In Hildegard's tradition, galangal honey was associated with the stomach and with the heart and circulation.

Ingredients

Galangal root powder and honey.

Preparation

Stir galangal root powder into honey, warming the honey slightly if need be. For 5 %, use 1 tsp (5 g) per 100 g of honey; for 10 %, 2 tsp; for 20 %, 4 tsp; and for 30 %, 6 tsp per 100 g.
