In Hildegard's herbal lore, galangal is among the best-known preparations and was associated with the heart and circulation and — as an accompaniment — with digestion, the back and general well-being.

Ingredients

Galangal root (without lactose and talc).

Botanical background

There is a Commission E monograph on galangal. In herbal lore it is credited with heart-strengthening, antispasmodic and antimicrobial properties.
