Give your fruit cakes an appetizing color and glossy finish with Lecker's Organic Red Cake Glaze. This product is purely plant-based, making it perfect for vegan baking. The package contains 2 sachets of 10g each.
The blend of grape sugar*, agar agar*, beetroot powder*, and monopotassium tartrate is sufficient for 250 ml of water or fruit juice. The included agar agar is a vegan gelling agent made from red algae. It dissolves in hot water and sets when cooled to about 40°C. If the glaze sets too early in the pot, you can simply reheat it.
